What options do you have from a business point of view?

That's a good question. Because Majin Planet is a non-profit, fan created/fan run web site we really only due business in two ways.

• Link Partnership/Link Trading
• Sponsorship Program

Link Partnership/Link Trading

Every fan base web site has some sort of policy on who/what/where/when it comes to linking to another web site. Let it be to gain a large fan base or simple because you like another web site. Here at Majin Planet we do both. Unlike the past and many web sites within out field we do not "list endless amounts of links on our pages". There are many sites who have rules saying "You must link us on all your pages to get linked". We do not believe in this because people do not come to a site looking for links to other sites (that is what a search engine is for). Instead they want content about their subject and links for more information to the subject.

As a result we are very picky on who we trade links with. Generally we have 3 sections of links located on our link database page. The first one would be what many would call "Friends", "Affiliates", etc. These are sites who we know well, either by affiliation, personal or simple on a business level. As such we generally choose who we list in this section of the site and are shown with full 88x31 button size images.

The next section are what we call out favorites. You can't get on this list, do not ask me or another member of the staff. Simple these are sites we think are useful and just overall great sites. Grant I have over 1000 some sites book marked so I'm very picky when it comes to this list. Generally I will use these links on other parts of the site for related information.

The last is very simple, that is they are submitted links. For those who want their site listed here on Majin Planet. You can submit your site to us by e-mail and after review we'll either add the link or not. Because I get lot of these each week I don't reply to them because it would take too much time. I do look at every site, and my opinion is not base on how big you are but how well your site is design. A poor looking site will just meet the trash, while a overall good design site will make the grade. However this does not mean that you will be added. The best way to ensure your even listed is for you to link to use first. In fact if you don't link to use first then I don't bother linking back. All is fair and those who link to me, and then submit generally get link.
