Ultimate Series: The New Majin Planet
March 29, 2008 – 10:46 amThis week in Ultimate Series, we’re going to take a look back at a time not to far off from Majin Plane’t time. In fact we’re first going to go back to the year 2005, a time when Majin Planet was gone and a new site was on the dawn, what site are we talking about here? Need a hint? Samurai Spirit, the new Majin Planet. Well it was sort of back in late 2004/2005.
A little background history about Samurai Spirit. Majin Trunks Opened Samurai Spirit in the late fall of 2004, the site was to be a new fresh web site. Thanks to some over promoting of one anime news site Ani-CC, Samurai Spirit became a big hit right off the bat. Some of you may remember how much Ani-CC cover the site. While some thought it was just being over hype and wan’t as good as it was thought off to be, I for one love it. I still love the layout even to this day. I almost used it at one point, and it was even used as the core design for Majin Planet Generations last year. Even with all good press the site got, didn’t prevent it from hitting a few road blocks early on.

For you who visited the site today and all you got was the “coming soon” splash; I would like to appologize for this. This was incredibly bad luck considering that today is our first day up. What happend was our host decided to switch servers for the new year, the problem is they didn’t tell any of us about this, and he used a 2 day old backup of our site from when we had the splash page up. Again, I appologize for this. Also, as I posted before the site went down, I want to add some media to the site but I need your help. I would like you guys to post in the comments section what media you think I should upload to the site, and from what anime.
What made Samurai Spirit such a hit? No one knows, it could have been the fact it was different from other sites, the fact that in a way it was Majin Planet (with all the info, media, etc) or maybe it was just luck. It wasn’t luck the site didn’t last long, which for me was kind of sad because I like the site personally.
In the death of Samurai Spirit, a new site was born in Cryptic Aura Studios.
Welcome to Cryptic Aura Studios

As the title says, Welcome to Cryptic Aura Studios! I decided it was about time to create my own music video studios, so a website naturaly comes along with it. Do to my lack of time now to run an anime website the way I would want to, a easy going website like this is a perfect replacement. For you people coming here expecting Samurai Spirit, I’m sorry but Samurai Spirit is closed. I just don’t have the time to run an anime website anymore. You can still find our tutorials, manga, and a few other things here, but for the most part we are just Music Video orriented at this point.
In addition to the new site I have created a new forum. I encourage you all to go and start posting. Since were new we don’t have or need moderators at this point but that dosn’t mean we wont be looking for when the forum gets bigger.
Also, joining the new studios with me is my freind Breeman. Breeman has been creating videos alittle bit longer then I have an is an excelent video creator. If you haven’t checked out his videos yet you should get to it.
Things got even bigger as time went on, and how can any of us forget when DaCoolGohan came around.

Hi, my name is DaCoolGohan, I just joined this studio. I have one video entered now and will have my 5 new ones entered, hopefully, by the end of the night. That’s about it for now.
The one thing the community always hates most are webmasters who steal others layouts. Cryptic Aura Studios was also attack by a ripper.

I’m realy getting tired of all these lazy fucking n00bs we have in the community. Our sites layout has been ripped of by Once some shitty site full of popups and advertisements. Thanks to our affiliate AmarsDBZN for informing me about this. Sadly there isn’t anything I can do to force them to take down our layout, but usualy exposing them for the n00bs they are tends to work in these situations.
As you could guess it got took care of, and life moved on. And while both Samurai Spirit and Cryptic Aura Studios may have failed to become the new Majin Planet we can’t forget the legacy they left us and how they help set the stones that would happen a few months later on Sep 08, 2005, when around then many of you got the first look at the rebirth of Majin Planet. For now I’ll leave you with that. Next week we’re going to go deep into the past and cover Trunks Hope, Saiyan Thunder and Majin Planet from its days in early 2000.
