Ultimate Series: Music Video Heaven

You see already on the second issue of Ultimate Series and I almost forgot to post it up today. Go figure right? Anyways, today we’re going to look at late 2003 when Majin Planet was heading near the what I like to call “The dark time” It was at this point Majin Planet start to lose steam, even know things appear to be doing well. We had the time of the Fight Club which had just come to an end, new music videos, old music videos and the new domain name majin-planet.net.

I find around this time to be one of the better times because I think the drop down menu feature works best with large sites, the only problem with that is all drop down menus need javascript to work. Even know Javascript is for the most part very much used around by everyone its still not so. There are still people who believe Javascript is bad and turn it off. Search bots (that I know of) still read like text browsers, which Javascript doesn’t work in (that I know of).

In the next issue of Ultimate Series I’ll post up some past layouts of Majin Planet as well as some of the old contest that use to be run. Below are some news posting, again unedited, of Majin Planet from late August 2003.

Oh, and i no its a bit soon for a layout but I’m working on a layout currently that will keep the same good looking graphix of the new layout but have somewhat of the old setup of the past Majin Planet layouts with the drop down menus.

Also, there have been a few people who dont seem to “appreciate” me working hear on Majin Planet. So either leave comments or e-mail me telling me if you think I’ve done a good job on the site or if you think i’m waisting my time and if you want me to continue working here or not.

������Well, just a post to tell you guys about things going on with the site, keep the fans updated and such.

New Poll: Well, theres a new poll up on what kinda layout you want to see from Majin Planet, be it a layout like the current one, a layout that looks like the OLD ones of you just plain dont give a fuck. Go to the bottom of the page and vote

Video Clips: We dont have the bandwidth to be able to put up any video clips at the moment, so instead if you go to the video clips page you will find a few links to other sites that have some good video clips.

Information: Me and HellFire are working on finishing up the movie and special’s summarys. Once were done with that I’ll be adding some more fighting styles, a transformations guide, a Saiyaman Guide “dont ask,” also a races,henchmen and afterlife guide.

THE ASYLUM: Oh yah, its come to my attention that some people didn’t know Majin Planet had a forum, so just to let you guys know….. WE HAVE A FORUM!!! CLICK HEAR TO GO TO IT, JOIN, POST, TALK ABOUT CRAP! thats just about it.

Oh yah I forgot, were all working on a new mvids. I’m working on a new comedy vid, Corrupted Avatar is making progress on his and Mebs.. well i’m not sure because he dosn’t come online often.

������Well, the fight club has come to an end, and the champion is Podge with his video Koola the Hun! He has been added to the fight club champs page where he will remain forever. Congradulations Podge!
There will be a 2 week delay period before I will start accepting entries, then i will be accepting entries for a bit more then 2 weeks, so you have alittle more then 4 weeks go finish up your vids. Only Dragonball related videos will be accepted into this fight club.

������Well yes, we do have an old music video section as you all know, Majin Mebs old mvid section. But Mebs isn’t the only mvid creator around here with old mvids. I still have 3 of my old mvids “my first 2 decent ones and the orriginal Triumph” and I’m sure with a bit of digging i can come up with a few of CA’s old mvids. Should I put them up though is the questin? A fan e-mailed me asking me about them so I figure I would ask you fans. Leave you opinion in the comments section.

������Well, its not realy a new layout just a modified version of the old one, mixing together the new layout and majin planets old style. Right now its the new layout with a drop down menu, and the music video pages have the old MP setup. I’m slowly working on going threw all the pages editing them to look good on this new layout though.

Also, I HAVE A NEW MVID UP! This mvid is much better then my last video and I hope it makes up for the disapointment in my last mvid.
