Ultimate Series: Hope of Time

What the hell is the Ultimate Series? Well it’s something I’ve plan on doing for over a year. For the most part I never did it because I didn’t think anyone would care and I was in a state to where I thought Majin Planet would pass back to Majin Trunks due to how shitty I was doing things at first. Anyone around in late 2005 remember all about that. Anyways the point of the Ultimate Series is to show you how Majin Planet was back in its time of glory. Back when the anime community was rules by Majin Planet and the other Dragonball Z web sites.

As you know today I don’t see Majin Planet as a Anime Community web site. It has more then just anime information now and while I am still a big anime fan, I find it a little of an insult to this community to say we are part of what the Anime Community is today. Some of you may remember my sad attempt to make a new community back in late 2004 early 2005 called the Evolution Community. In fact at one point one of my friends from back then was also opening a web site and I along with other sites where going to join up and become a network and start a new community. As you can guess they never open while I kept trying to get a few members on. I like to see this site now as part of the much larger and more stable Entertainment Community.

Some say that the only reason I have such a nice looking web site, know all I know in HTML and php and have a good following of fans and so many fans now is because of Majin Trunks and Majin Planet. Maybe, but hell that’s another subject. But on to the series. I’m going to try and do this every day or once every few days. Knowing me this will last a week everyday and then jump to every other day until it hits a week. With 1999 to 2005 of Majin Planet history to play with, I’m sure I’m going to have lot of stuff to work with.

Okay in this first issue of the series I’m going to show you some of the old news topics posted on Majin Planet from 2003 (yes I’m going to jump around on this). What’s also cool about this is your going to get it uncut and unedited. That’s right I’m not going to change anything. I’m going to use quotes so they you know what I type and what was taken form the past. I’m also going to post only a few up today.

Well since CA never did a follow up about what help it is we needed I figured I would tell you guys for him. We need some staff hear on Majin Planet “I’ll tell you what kind in a minit” but you have to be dedicated and hard working and can do your job well. Now what CA was asking for is a graphix designer, a GOOD graphix designer who can make great layouts, all you have to do though is be able to make the layouts because I will be the one encoding them and putting them up on the site. Also, another staff member that would be very helpful is I need someone to help me write the information for this site. If you want either of these jobs then contact me on aim at ss4patamon or e-mail me at majintrunks1006@hotmail.com. Keep in mind that you will need to provide a sample of your work to show you can do a good job.

EDIT: You MUST have some kind of experience in doing this before.

Well Ive re-arranged the information section “as some of your have probably seen” and I’ve added some new information to it. Also, we know long need info writers for this site, the positions have been filled, thank you for your help though. We are still in need of a Graphix Designer for the site though, so if your realy good at graphix and want the job contact me “preferably someone who has worked with Graphix on a website before.”

But anyways… the real news of this update, Ive just uploaded my new music video, its called Merciless Future. I was trying to go for a dark tone with it, I hope you all enjoy.

Well since I’ve been working so much lately on information and things with this site I felt as though I was neglecting my orriginal job on this site, Mvid reviews. So today I updated my review of DBZ Warriors including all his videos instead of just Dannys new ones, I also updated my review of NeoGohan AMV to include Aarons videos. On top of that i have added 2 new reviewed sites, DBGT Warriors and Breeman AMV giving me a total of 5 sites reviewed containing a total of 41 reviewed music videos. Just giving you all some news to let you know that work is still being done hear. I was searching threw web archives today and came acorst Majin Planet as it was a year and a half ago. I got some of the old information from it and a few ideas from the old site as to what to do hear on the new one.

To begin with I am currently working on getting the Fusion Info, DB-Trillogy Power Levels, Name Puns and Dragonball History info that use to be on Majin Planet back up, I just have to COMPLETLY go threw it and delete just about all the html in it to make it suitable for the new layout.

Also, for thoughs of you who remember and loved Dragonball AE and The Little Saiya-lings, well your going to like this, I am currently working on getting it all back up. I have copied all the little saiyan-lings comic stips from the archived Planet Namek and I got all the old DBAE fanfict from Gojitas Domain as well as 3 new eps that weren’t on Majin Planet before and a movie type story the creator wrote for it. Just like the info, I’m currently working on the html of all of it, once I’m done it will be back up.

Ok now that I’m done with the news of what I’m currently working on I will explain to you about what ideas the old Majin Planet site gave me.
Well the fan-fict contest is back up now except for the difference is, I’m going to be taking control of it, you can find the details on the right navigation. Also I will be taking fan-art submisions, so for thoughs of you who have fan-art you want to be displayed on Majin Planet e-mail me at MajinTrunks1006@hotmail.com with your name and your picture(s.)
There are a few other ideas I have that at the begining of this update I was going to tell you but I’ve decided it would be better if I didn’t for now being as how I’m still working on the details. Thats all for now.

That’s all for today. On the next part of the series I’m going to show you some suff from early years of 1999 as well as some screenshots of the old (and I do mean old) Majin Planet Layout. Also this series isn’t limited to just Majin Planet as I may also do stuff on my old web sites I had too. I guess it depends on how well everyone likes the first series of articles.
