Removing the X out of Anicc Part 1 (reposted)

March 1, 2008 – 2:22 pm

Ok some people reading this may know me as Darth Unrivaled from Ani-cc.com. Yes I was once a member there. Until I was banned for something I didn’t do nor did I have a part in. Ok here is the story you don’t know. This is the truth and many people don’t want this information to get out as it would really put a hurt on them. After all that I had to go threw I have finally decided to say my mine. Before I get into details about that day and my leaving ani-cc let me give you some history between me and ani-cc.

Back in August 2004, I ran a web site known as Dragonball Final.com, it was a very good web site base on the anime Dragonball Z and GT. I was doing good on and off. I had this theme going that I would be the last Dragonball fan site, which then people thought I was just being an ass hole about it, but look at today, almost a year later and well how many true DBZ sites are left? Not to many, most are either closed, mix it with other anime’s, or just change it to something else. Anyway it was around the summer time that I became a affiliate with Saiyan-Z Rage.net, a very good DBZ/Anime news site, the owner was very cool with me. It was at this time that I started to hang out at a web site known as The C-News. It was a community news web site. I was give a very nice review and comments from them. So I join it and started posting on it. It was at this time I started to get into message boards, as before I never even bother with them, I may have join a few in the past like the starwars.com board but that was about it.

It was this move here that well lead to the end of my nice side and what turn me to the dark side if you will. Around August 2004, at the time I was also a big time Magic The Gathering player. I would go out like 3 to 4 times a week. I remember it was a Sunday day, I was gone all day, I had forgot my computer was online, as I was uploading images to my site. Well I was gone all day and it was on. Now my computer at this time was a macintosh computer, that had maybe 2mb of space (that’s how big the hard drive was).

At around 9:30pm I came home, to find my computer was off. At first I was mad as I didn’t want to start over on the uploading. In any case it took about 20mins to my computer to come back on. Once I got it on. I saw my web site folder was missing off my desk top. I searched it was gone. I was pissed. So I went online which itself took 10 min’s to do. Once online I went to my site and the main page was there, but the content didn’t load. I try to FTP in and when the screen loaded all I saw one my image folder and the index file. It wasn’t until around 11:00pm at night to it came to me that my computer had been hacked into, my web site had been deleted off my computer and because my FTP name and password was save, they where able to login to it and delete it there. Years of hard work was gone.

I Instant messaged my one friend KidGrave, Dranet, and SaiyanZRage to tell them about it. It was at this time I came to understand no one cared. KidGrave said that sucked, but nothing he could do, Dranet same thing. SaiyanZRage thought it was funny as hell. It was at this point my online friendship with him was over. I wouldn’t be online for about 2 weeks. I learn about 2 week later that the-cnews had been hacked by someone named ~~X~~. I was told my a ex-member of the Cnews that this person hacked all the sites that supported them as well. Well I was one of those supporters, so my first guess was they hacked me too.

After some rethinking and stuff I was getting read to just go and cancel my hosting, drop the internet and be like my mom and dad who didn’t know a thing about the internet. When I came on to check my mail, KidGrave contact me threw Instant Message. He ask me for his help. I told him ok I would see what I could do. He told me about this little war going on with ani-cc.com and animehv.com. He told me it all started when animehv.com post a fake news story about ani-cc.com. I ask them what it had to do with him, and he told me that he was being called a spammer and hacker by animehv.com. Kidgrave pointed me to ani-cc.com. So in October 2004, I join as XfireSystems.

It was also at this time I decided to reopen my old web site XfireSystems.com, which would need some big time work. So while doing that I start looking into this little war thing. Remember I was still pissed about the hacking thing. So with in my first view post, I said stuff about how the community (Anime one) was full of hackers and I’m going to change that. THe owner, named Neo PM and said he agree with me an wanted me to join his staff. I told him I could not as I had my own site to get back off the ground.

As it went, I learn some things about it and because of me stepping in and say something, I end up being the target. I supported both Neo and Kidgrave threw the whole thing, and in turn the people who hated neo hated me. So my site also came under an attack which my message board was hit and crashed. This was my first time using a board on my site so I had no idea how to really protect it. I had never been attacked in such a way. I knew it could be done but I didn’t want to believe people did this kind of things. Nor did I know who Neo was.
