Coming Along well

Well I got a very slow start today, I finally got around on how I wanted to do the roster pages for Graphic War and AMV Raw. I think it came out good. I haven’t gotten to the real crazy stuff like the polls and match set up system. Right now I simply want to get things going here and there for the most part. If anything the outer look of the site.

For this entry I figure its better to show you some previews of the work. After all, whats the point of me talking all say about it when I can simply show you what I mean.

In this first preview, you can get a full shot of the layout, both header to footer. So in that this is the first preview of the new Majin Planet that you’ll get next year.

As you can see, there isn’t much to the front, what you can’t tell in the image is the top part that has the logo, and Goku to the Right. Well this image uses a percentage width and height. Basically what this means is that the image will get smaller or bigger depending on a screen size. This way it can be a image and work in the space I need. The smaller it gets the image starts to look bad, so I might switch it to a png, as I think png images do better with percentages then jpeg’s do. For the rest of the page, as you can see most of its simply a spacer for future content to be added.

In the next preview image you’ll see shot of the roster page for AMV Raw. As you would notice beyond the top header (same from the first preview) this one looks the same as the current one. However I have redone the CSS on the tables and added a cool image hover effect to the images. Also not notice in the image are the links to the profiles. As I’ve said, Majin Planet will have a profile system, which is the main “thing” I guess for the site. This profile system will have some cool stuff on it. More on it later.

In our last preview image, is another look at the roster page, this shows you the hover over, it also something new which I coded into the system. Champions names on the roster list are bold in red, as you can see. A cool thing add-on to the site. For the most part the roster page is done. The big one is the King of the Hill roster page because as I’ve said its a different deal then AMV Raw and Graphic War.

For the most part, I think I’ve done good this week, I took a few days off form coding and spent time working on this blog, Unrivaled Studio’s and Sith Masters. I’m getting Sith Masters ready so that after the first of the year, in the first 2 weeks I’ll have a load of work ahead of me and will need to not be dealing with Sith Masters. As a project site, I think its done okay and I think now all it needs are some fans and it’ll be on its way. The main deal is RPG and fan fictions, both do not need me really looking after it as I do Majin Planet.

With Christmas a few days away, I don’t think I’ll really get anymore work done until after Christmas and then, that be short lived with New years. I’m going to be taking the time to take a break form my projects and simply have fun. I’m also in the mist of starting to pack, so I may use the time to do that. Who knows, I may code some over the holidays as I don’t want to stay away too much or I’ll get code in my coding.

Tomorrow for sure is my last day of this week anyways for coding, until after the Christmas, I’ll pick back up. I might do the admin panel for the roster. As it is, I’m going to be starting over on the roster status so I may just use the time to drop those rows and add the new stuff. However I’ll see because it might be more work then I can do in a day and I hate to start it and not finish it until like the 26th, so who knows. I guess we’ll see.
