Competition Begins

December 19, 2007 – 7:01 pm

Well I got a late start today, in fact I’m working on it right now. I’m starting the Competition section of the site and well this is going to be the hardest one to do as of now. Why? Well because I have made so many changes and for the most its not just a Competition system, but its a poll, articles and more. The new Competition is being build as a duel system. Such as there will be the weekly event polls per match for both AMV Raw and Graphic War. The idea is to fill out a simple match form, for each match and the site updates on its own. The same for the monthly events, and Fight Club matches. This is a great deal of presettings and changing by mysql and php. I also need to write a new comment system and new poll system because it will no longer be ran by the board. For the most part I’ve been lazy this last year. I also want to make sure that with the poll system that when it closes it updates the rosters with the winners, examples lost and wins. I will however still have to do some sort of set up on this.

As such I may have to simple close it and fill out some options and the site will do the rest is updating. Right now it does lot of this on the current system. Such as its very easy for me to update who the champions are. I want to add more details to this part and not only show case it on the roster pages but on the main pages for AMV Raw and Graphic War. King of the Hill is becoming a “3rd Brand” if you will of AMV Raw and Graphic War. Being the same way as always, such as one person faces another person. I think the way I’m going to choose who will change the champion is the own who had the best week. I don’t wont to give to much away, so keep an eye on Majin Planet for details on this.

We’re also starting a new contest called A Saiyan Duel. Well it old, but I’m going to redo it and add more to it. I’m hoping to make the system good so I can add any new contest easy with out making any code changes what so ever. So we’ll see how things go.
